Let us tell you for information that only the National Law University Delhi will not participate in CLAT 2023 exam as it organizes a separate entrance exam every year – The all-India Law Entrance Test. After clearing the two-hour offline (OMR-based) exam, students can use their CLAT scores for admission to various law colleges other than NLU. These colleges will be called CLAT-affiliated colleges as they have signed an agreement with the NLU consortium.
What is CLAT
Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an all-India entrance test conducted by reputed National Law Institutes (NLUs) for admission to their Under-Graduate and Postgraduate degree programs (LL. B and LL.M). The National Level Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is conducted by a consortium of NLUs for admission to 5-year integrated LLB (UG) and one-year LLM (PG) courses by 22 participating NLUs. UG courses are currently being offered by 22 participating NLUs from India, while 19 prestigious National Law Schools act as gateways to PG courses.
CLAT 2023 Notification
The third merit list for CLAT 2022 has been announced by the consortium on 12th July 2022, with the CLAT 2023 exam to be held on 18th December 2022 will be offline. The exam notification will be published on the official website (consortium onlus.ac.in). As it is known that the General Body meeting of the Consortium of National Law Universities was held at NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad under the chairmanship of Prof. Faizaan Mustafa. Through which it was revealed that this year the consortium of NLU will conduct two common law admission tests.

The Consortium (NLU) on its part will release the official notification related to CLAT Exam 2023 application form after 15th July 2022. CLAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria
As the CLAT Exam 2023 is about to begin in December, the information about the eligibility criteria is most important for the students who want to appear for CLAT 2023, because if the candidate fails to fulfill the eligibility criteria, they will be asked to CLAT. for UG program
1- No upper age limit is prescribed.
2-The student must have passed class 10+2 from a recognized board.
3-It will be mandatory for a general category student to get 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination and 40% for SC or ST.
4-Also the candidates appearing in class 12th are also eligible to apply for the exam.
for PG program
1- No upper age limit
2-The student must have passed LLB or 5-year Integrated LLB (Hons) or its equivalent from a recognized Institute/University.
3- It will be mandatory for a general category student to get 55% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination and 50% marks for SC or ST.
